HLG75 – Health Libraries: Past, Present and Future

In the first part of this session of the day Lynsey Hawker marks HLG’s 75th anniversary by exploring the history of this special interest group from its foundation in 1947 through to the work it does today.

Ruth Carlyle will then expand on this introduction to look at health libraries more broadly.  What do we mean by health libraries and what work is being done across this sector today.

Sue Lacey Bryant concludes this packed first session by looking ahead to our future, what will be celebrating when we look back at the next 75 years?
