Welcome to the Health Libraries Group Newsletter for Summer 2025. As we are well within the heat of summer (amidst days of unexpected chill), we hope you are enjoying this summer while keeping cool and hydrated with the recent heatwaves wherever your respective health libraries are!
This edition of the HLG newsletter features articles on reflections from the recent ICLC and UHMLG conference, reshaping library spaces, collaborative projects and more, as well as the extended abstract submission for ICML 2026.
The first item in this issue is a piece in memory of Bob Gann, one of the great innovators and developers of health librarianship, particularly in relation to developing health information for the public.
We extend our warmest gratitude to all our contributing authors.
If you are having a difficult time or are worried about someone else, contact the Samaritans for help.
