Welcome to the Health Libraries Group Newsletter for Spring 2025. As the flowers are blooming and weather warms up, we hope you are enjoying longer days of sunshine greeting each of your respective health libraries!
This edition of the HLG newsletter features articles on library outreach projects/case studies, COP promotional activities, reflections from the LILAC conference and Kings Fund annual leadership and workforce summit, and more, as well as invites to the upcoming CILIP HLG Annual General Meeting in June and updates on other events approaching in the next few months. It also features an opportunity to publish regularly in the HLG Newsletter.
The first item in this issue is a piece in memory of Judy Palmer, one time editor in chief of the Health Information & Libraries Journal and chair of the Medical Health and Welfare Group of the Library Association (precursor of HLG).
We’re thrilled to share this edition of the HLG Newsletter with you and extend our warmest gratitude to all our contributing authors.
