Welcome to the Health Libraries Group newsletter for Autumn/Winter 2025. The team would first like to wish our readers a wonderful festive season and happy new year; we have plenty of reading material to keep you engaged until January.
In this issue, we are very pleased to introduce HLG’s new co-chair, Ruth Carlyle. You will also find reflections on events around the UK including Green Libraries Week, a visit to the House of Commons Library, and BMJ Best Practice drop-ins, among others. We also include more memories of the late Judy Palmer from those that knew and worked with her.
We would also like to announce a new international section, featuring contributions from librarians and information professionals outside the UK.
A heartfelt thank you to all our contributing authors for making this issue possible.
