Libraries for Nursing Bulletin Vol 30(2)
Welcome to the summer edition of the Libraries for Nursing Bulletin. Included in this issue are articles covering topics from current awareness, to using Twitter in an NHS library and a report from LILAC – the annual information literacy conference.
If you feel inspired to sign up with Twitter after reading Sian Anysley’s report on page 12 remember to follow Libraries for Nursing at http://twitter.com/libs4nurs
Many LfN members will be attending the Health Libraries Group Conference in Salford in July. Representatives from the Libraries for Nursing Committee will be at the exhibition, so do come along to meet us and to enter our raffle. We also have a parallel session on 19th July at 1:30 where Faten Hamad and Christine Urquhart from Aberystwyth University will be presenting a paper entitled “Searching beyond the RCT – looking for sibling studies on qualitative, economic and process research”.
The next LfN Study Day will take place in York on 5th October and the topic will be information literacy. More information about the content of the day and details about how to book a place will be added to our website over the summer.
A subscription renewal form for 2010 is included along with the Bulletin. Many of our readers have already renewed their subscription, but if you have not yet had the chance to do so, please complete the form and post it to us. If you have already renewed your subscription why not pass on the renewal form to one of your colleagues?
Our next Bulletin will be published in the autumn; contributions of articles and current awareness suggestions are welcome.
